Mothers Day 2005

Today is a special Mothers Day for our family, just as it was 50 years ago when our first child, David Walter Lazan, was born in the Winter Haven, Florida Hospital. David did arrive a little sooner than anticipated, and when Nathaniel called his mother, of blessed memory, in New York to tell of the good tidings, his Mom said, “come on, – put Marion on the phone.”

Today, 50 years later, David lives with his beautiful family in Vero Beach Florida. David practices urology, his dear wife Lisa has her own law firm, and their 4 children, Jordan Erica, Hunter Harrison, Ian Garrett and Kasey Rose are model children and love school. (What else can proud grandparents say?)

Yes, as I say at the end of my talks, life today is full and rewarding for me.

Susan, our daughter, who was born in Texas, lives with her husband Rob in Woodmere, and have 2 children, Arielle (who accompanied us to Germany last month) and Joshua, both high school students in the HALB network

Michael, our youngest, lives with his wonderful family, wife Rachel, and 3 children Gavriel, Dahlia and Yoav, in Beit Shemesh, Israel.

You can understand, in addition to all the travel we do in connection with my speaking, we have a lot of travel to do just to see our children and grandchildren. But we thoroughly enjoy it all.

Many thanks to those of you who have written such meaningful letters to me after having viewed MARION’S TRIUMP. Please, if you have the time, call your local PBS station, and thank them for airing it.

For those of you where MARION’S TRIUMPH has not been shown, do call your local PBS station, and ask that they do so. PBS says they are responsive to suggestions from their audience. Let’s see if they really are!

Just a final reminder. New York PBS station WNET – Channel 13 is showing MARION’S TRIUMP today, Sunday, May 8, at 2 PM

We realize that the times and dates listed may not be 100% accurate. We apologise for that! If you can help us with any corrections - please do - and thank you. You can also refer to your local TV guide.
