While visiting children and grandchildren in Israel, and making presentations, I learned that Marion’s Triumph, the documentary about the work I do in schools, is being aired by many Public TV Stations beginning this April, and beyond, in observance of the 60th anniversary of the end of the Holocaust.
Marion’s Triumph was produced by John Chua, and narrated by Emmy Award winning actress Debra Messing.

While the majority of PBS stations across the country committed to air this program, a sizeable number (over 20), are still undecided about showing this documentary.
We survivors are a vanishing breed. It is a race against time. Today’s generation is the very last to hear our eye-witness, first-hand accounts of what happened in the “camps” those many years ago.
If you teach the Holocaust, social studies or world history, you may want your students to see this documentary. Or, if you feel that others in your community should be exposed to lessons of the Holocaust, and that this documentary should be shown in your area of the country, I urge you to please immediately call your local PBS affiliate.
So they will know exactly what your are talking about, tell them that Marion`s Triumph is being distributed by American Public Televion to PBS an an exchange program.

First, ask if they are planning to show the documentary in your area.
If yes, please thank them, and suggest that they show it during prime time.
If undecided, or no, please tell them that you have read my memoir, Four Perfect Pebbles , or have attended one of my presentations, and feel that people in your community would greatly benefit from viewing this documentary. Tell them the American Library Association`s Booklist gave the documentary the Editor`s Choice Award in 2004, and that it is highly regarded by educators, and has received many wonderful reviews.
If you can`t reach a programmer, feel free to leave a voice message.
If you can get friends, relatives, e-mail list acquaintances, church & synagogue groups, and other organizations to call the local TV station, so much the better.
But, we need to act fast because TV stations plan their programming 3 months prior to an actual telecast.
